Chinese CPL spot import trends light on Mon

China's spot market of caprolactam (CPL) imports was light on February 20. Cargo holders made very few offers and actual turnover was limited.
Sporadic offers in the market were in the range of US $2960-2980 / ton (CFR China main port, L/C - 90 days). Downstream bids were in the range of $2940-2950 / ton and actually negotiated prices were in the range of $2950-2960 / ton.
The Chinese domestic CPL spot market was flat on February 20 and trading atmosphere was plain in the market.
Cargo holders offered in the range of 23,700-24,000 Yuan / ton, downstream manufacturers counter offered at 23,500 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated prices were in the range of 23,600-23,700 Yuan / ton.
