China cuts duty on rotary flat screen printing machine

The Ministry of Finance – China recently revised import tariffs on a number of goods, in which import duty on rotary flat screen printing machine has been reduced.
Tariff on textile rotary screen flat screen printing machine has been reduced from 8 percent to 6 percent in 2012, while those on other textile machinery and accessories stay unchanged.
Among them, air-jet looms and ring spinning machines, compact spinning device still attract zero duty, automatic winding machines, dobby or jacquard (speed of 500 rev / min or more) attract 4 percent import tariff.
Winding spindles, electronic yarn clearer, air splicer, weft, warp devices, other spare parts used on looms and their auxiliary machine attract 3 percent tariff rate. Sanding machine and mercerizing machine attract 10 percent duty.
The reduction of import tariff is undoubtedly a good measure for textile enterprises that will import equipment. With lowered import tariffs this year, enterprises can save about 100,000 Yuan of tariff, when they import printing machine equipment.
The measure will also to a certain extent play a role in promoting textile enterprises to introduce modern technology.
