In the last week, price of cotton linter went down from higher level. Price of Cotton linter declined from RMB 4500/ton and as per last update, stood in the range of RMB 4200/ton to RMB 4250/ton, whereas trading offers were in between RMB 4450/ton to RMB 4500/ton. Buying sentiment remained quite low.
Price of dissolving pulp declined slowly in the previous week and was in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9500/ton in Chinese domestic market. Price of imported dissolving wood pulp was in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1500/ton.
Pulp Imported from U.S.A, Canada and Sweden were in the range of US$ 1325/ton to US$ 1475/ton. Counter offers were around US$ 1275/ton to US$ 1400/ton. Pulp imported from Brazil was heard at US$ 1500/ton and pulp imported from Indonesia was at US$ 1400/ton.
Price of VSF decreased drastically, during the last week; producers firmly hold their offers around RMB 17300/ton to RMB 17400/ton. Earlier price opened at RMB 17550/ton, but without support of demand fundamentals, trading price went down to RMB 17350/ton.
In Chinese market, offers for imported VSF, hovered in the range of US$ 2.35/kg to US$ 2.42/kg. Market experts believe that price would be range bound around US$ 2.45/kg in near future.
