Italian home textiles brand Frette now in India

Frette, the leading provider of luxury linens to the finest hotels and homes worldwide, has entered the Indian market with the launch of its first store in Mumbai.
The Italian brand has signed an agreement licensing Elite Lifestyle for expansion in India through the franchise route.
The company is offering its select range of bed linens, baby wear and bags at present, and in due course of time, will also offer a special range catering to the Indian consumers.
Over the next three years, the Milan-based brand intends to open eight to nine new stores in India, which would generate US$ 20 million in revenue for the company.
The firm plans to open its new outlets both in metros as well in Tier-II cities.
Frette was established in 1860 as 'Frette, Payre & Chaboud' by Jean Baptiste Edmond Frette, Alexandre Payre and Charles Chaboud to manufacture and distribute home linens from its base in Grenoble, France.
In 2010, Frette celebrated its 150 years of unforgettable patterns, textures, fabrics and jacquards by unveiling a special limited edition – '150 Anniversario'.
