Ethylene, MEG & PSF trends up, polyester POY down

Paraxylene (PX) price increased sharply in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PX prices were in the range of US$ 1675/ton to US$ 1680/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were in between US$ 1670/ton to US$ 1680/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market was quoted at US$ 1675/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA price was stable. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1185/ton to US$ 1195/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1185/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA price was around RMB 8950/ton to RMB 9050/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price went up slowly to US$ 1380/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1385/ton. In U.S.A market, ethylene price was in the range of 64.75 cents/pound to 65.25 cents/pound. In European market, Ethylene offers were in the range of US$ 1525/ton to US$ 1530/ton.
MEG price inclined up in S E Asian markets and was offered in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price inclined up in the range of RMB 8250/ton to RMB 8350/ton and in Chinese MEG import market, offers prevailed around US$ 1085/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1645/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1655/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip was offered at RMB 11850/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was in the range of US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1560/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1550/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11300/ton.
PSF market inclined, in N Asian region and was in the range of US$ 1680/ton to US$ 1685/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were in the range of US$ 1595/ton to US$ 1605/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers were in the range of RMB 11650/ton to RMB 11750/ton.
Price of Polyester POY declined in Chinese domestic market. POY price was around RMB 11900/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were at RMB 12400/ton to RMB 13350/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1625/ton, US$ 1685/ton and US$ 1820/ton, respectively.
