Pak textile & garment machinery expo begins today

Marking the onset of the textile exhibition season of 2012 in Pakistan, the 10th International Machinery Exhibition of Garment and Textile Technology 'Megatech Pakistan 2012' will begin at the Expo Centre Lahore on March 1, 2012.
Over 15 countries including China, Switzerland, Turkey, South Korea and Germany will showcase their latest textile machinery at the three day expo, which is to go on till March 3.
The latest machines to be on display can help the Pakistani textile industry to grab new export markets by offering value-added goods.
The expo will also extend an interactive atmosphere for the investors and decision makers, presenting them with an opportunity to get in touch with their domestic as well as foreign industry counterparts.
The Ministry of Textile Industry, Engineering Development Board, Board of Investment and many other textile related trade associations have extended significant support to the expo.
