The first day being reserved for upcoming designers saw limited presentations of collections by fashion designers.
Upcoming and talented fashion designer Julien David showcased menswear with boyish knitwear looks and musings about the monster Yeti.
There was also a fine display of feminine outlines with menswear in a collection showcased by Italian designer Corrado de Biase.
The day also saw presentation of knitwear collection by France's Alice Lemoine and Cedric Charlier, a young Belgian designer who presented his first eponymous line after leaving Cacharel.
Meanwhile, Parisian luxury fashion house Yves Saint-Laurent confirmed that its Italian designer Stefano Pilati would be showcasing his last collection at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week.
