Chinese CPL spot import market flat on Mar 13

China's caprolactam (CPL) spot import market appeared flat on March 13. Cargo holders were reluctant to sell at low cost, trading atmosphere was light in the market and actual turnover was limited.
Cargo holders made a few offers around US $2890-2900 / ton (CFR China main port, L/C 90 days), downstream bids were around $2,850 / ton and actual negotiation was in the range of $2860-2870 / ton.
China's CPL domestic spot market too was flat on March 13. The market was covered with wait-and-see atmosphere and actual turnover was rare.
Cargo holders offered at around 23,000 Yuan / ton, downstream manufacturers bid at around 22,700 Yuan / ton and actual negotiation was in the range of 22,700-22,800 Yuan / ton.
