From 13th to 16th March, the Spanish company Jeanologia, highly specialized on jeans finishing techniques, will showcase its ultimate innovations for the jean finishing at EXINTEX Textile Fair hosted at the new Exhibition and Conference Center of Puebla (Mexico).

Jeanologia, with a sound reputation in the jean finishing field framed by the principles of Ecological, Efficient and Ethical, has developed a new generation technology which allows a higher energetic save, as well as significant savings in water, chemicals, and time. Moreover, it avoids the use of hazardous techniques for workers health.

Jeanologia will travel to Mexico to show its last technology GFK LASER TWIN 3E. This laser reproduces the wearing and vintage effect in great detail, whilst it reduces the production time, increases the accuracy and reproducibility obtaining a more authentic look.

It also allows a larger production output compared to other traditional finishing techniques such as the manual scrapping, PP spray or sandblasting.

The laser is the alternative that offers major production outputs. So, with the laser you can produce 100 jeans per hour while the manual scrapping allows just 10 garments per hour, 30 jeans per hour if talking about sandblasting, or 60 jeans per hour with PP spray. The production with laser then, increases in a significant way and at the same time, takes care of workers health avoiding sicknesses that come directly from hazardous techniques such as the manual scrapping.

Likewise, during the exhibition, there will be live demos of laser marking production on garments from Top Jeans using the innovative GFK LASER TWIN 3E that all visitors may personally check how the laser works on garments.

Moreover, on 13th March at 14h00 in the EXINTEX Conference Center, Rolando Sierra, Manager of Jeanologia for America area will give lecture aimed at presenting the ultimate technological novelties developed by Jeanologia for jeans finishing.

Also, the theme pavilion of Trends within the exhibition, Jeanologia will have an area called “El Museo Denim” (the denim museum) where it will show for the first time in Mexico some of the pieces from the “Truth & Light” exhibition along the jeans history.

This exhibition, that has already been in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Munich, among others, recreates the vintage jean history with authentic jeans obtained from different time periods from the 50ies to the 80ies (Truth) as well as their copies produced with the laser technology (Light), inviting all the visitors to figure out which of these pieces are the ones produced with the laser technology.

Jeanologia is a Spanish company specialised on the research, development and commercialization of new technologies for the washing, dyeing and finishing of textile garments, more precisely on jeans.

During the last years it has consolidated as a global leader in the development of new technologies for the denim world developing innovative techniques that reduce the environmental footprint, the energy consumption, and that cares of workers and final consumer's health.
