MEG & PSF prices fall, ethylene stable

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian market. In S E Asian market, PX prices were in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1575/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were in between US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1570/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market was quoted at lower level around US$ 1550/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA price dipped due to poor upstream support. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1165/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1160/ton. On contrary, in Chinese domestic market, PTA price fell to around RMB 8475/ton to RMB 8525/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price did not change from US$ 1380/ton. In F E Asian market, ethylene price was around US$ 1340/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene was in the range of 65.25 cents/pound to 65.75 cents/pound. In European domestic market price range was € 1290/ton to € 1300/ton. In European market, price was around US$ 1650/ton.
MEG price reduced sharply in S E Asian markets and was offered in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 990/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 995/ton. In Chinese domestic market, selling offers were around RMB 7325/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1675/ton to US$ 1685/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1675/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip offered at RMB 11700/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1580/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1575/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 11500/ton to RMB 11600/ton.
In N Asian PSF market price continued to go down in the range of US$ 1615/ton to US$ 1625/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were in the range of US$ 1520/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers were in the range of RMB 11250/ton to RMB 11350/ton.
Price of Polyester POY declined in Chinese domestic market. POY price was around RMB 11300/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were at RMB 11800/ton to RMB 12900/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1535/ton, US$ 1595/ton and US$ 1750/ton, respectively.
