Tirupur exporters happy with NTADCL nod

Dr. A. Sakthivel, President of Tirupur Exporters' Association (TEA) has thanked the Hon'ble Chief Minister for the measures sanctioned to give a new lease of life to the SPV, New Tirupur Area Development Corporation Limited (NTADCL) and the project, third water scheme to Tirupur was successfully executed in your last regime, mainly to provide good quality water supply and sanitation facilities.
President is happy to note that the bailout package, Corporate Debt Restructuring Package involving conversion of 15% of debt to State Government equity and sanctioning of Rs.150 crore revival package have come at a crisis period of the project and this will go a long way and beneficial to all walks of life in wayside villages and Panchayats, apart from Tirupur Corporation and processing units in Tirupur industries.
With your swift action and guidance, five Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) have been already opened and most of their member units have already resumed their operations and new permissions have also been given for reopening of four more CETPs. Added to this, about 40 Individual Effluent Treatment Plants (IETPs) are also operating successfully. We wish to note that the remaining CETPs and IETPs have also been taking efforts and will soon resume operations. With these, the water consumption quantity from NTADCL will increase in the coming months.
