Top grades for the TV TecStyle Visions

The TV TecStyle Visions 2012, the leading European trade fair for textile decoration and promotion, announces record attendance. 10,266 professional visitors came to Stuttgart primarily or perhaps even solely for the TV TecStyle Visions, which was organised for the first time as part of the association of trade fairs called EXPO 4.0.

The first EXPO 4.0, the trade fair for visual communication, was attended by 13,966 professional visitors from 2 to 4 February 2012. The success has surpassed all expectations. The new trade fair association EXPO 4.0 combines the four trade fairs TV TecStyle Visions, wetec, POS Masters and Digital Signage Tec. Under the umbrella brand EXPO 4.0 the four trade fares combine their competences in the areas embroidered, flock-coated and rhinestoned promotional clothing, screen-based information and advertising solutions, mobile presentation and exhibition systems, shop concepts, advertising technology, digital print and illuminated advertising.

404 exhibitors from 24 countries took part in the EXPO 4.0. The proportion of foreign businesses was 22 percent, with the TV TecStyle Visions having had the highest number of exhibitors from abroad at 25 percent. 35,000 gross square metres of exhibition space were occupied in halls 2, 4, 6 and 8.

The TV TecStyle Visions 2012 exhibited product innovations and novelties in the areas of textile print, embroidery, flock, transfer printing and digital textile printing. While the main focus was on the new trends rhinestone and laser, the latest promotional wear collections, which were presented several times a day at fashion shows, also sparked a great deal of interest among visitors.

Overall, 17 percent attended the fashion shows, 16 percent visited the rhinestone area, twelve percent thought the Golden Shirt Award was interesting and eleven percent called into the informative specialist TV forum.

The proportion of foreign businesses was 13 percent. They came from 34 countries, mostly from Austria and Switzerland, but the Netherlands, the UK, Croatia and Belgium were also well represented. The significant rise in visitors – the TV TecStyle Visions 2010 was attended by 7,353 visitors – also meant that the number of foreign visitors in absolute terms has gone up considerably, which was confirmed by the exhibitors.
