Asian PSF & polyester POY trends slid down

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained unchanged in all Asian markets. In S E Asian countries, PX prices were offered in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1565/ton. In F E Asia, PX prices were assessed in between US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1545/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market offered in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1565/ton.
In F E Asian and S E Asian countries, PTA prices hovered in between US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1170/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1160/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA price went down a bit and was marked at RMB 8550/ton to RMB 8600/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price stayed steady at US$ 1405/ton. In F E Asian countries, Ethylene price was quoted at US$ 1385/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene was in the range of 74.75 cents/pound to 75.25 cents/pound. In European domestic market, Ethylene price was stable at € 1230/ton. In European Ethylene market, price was offered in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1555/ton.
MEG prices improved a little in Asian countries. In S E Asian markets, MEG prices jumped up and were offered in the range of US$ 955/ton to US$ 960/ton. In China market, MEG price surged up and were quoted in the range of US$ 955/ton to US$ 960/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG selling offers slid down to RMB 7175/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1565/ton to US$ 1575/ton. In F E Asian markets, counter offers were around US$ 1550/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip plunged down and was offered at RMB 11000/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip slipped down and hovered at RMB 10200/ton to RMB 10250/ton.

In S E Asian market, PSF offers were in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1485/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 9950/ton to RMB 11050/ton.
In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY prices went down although DTY and FDY prices stayed steady. POY prices slipped down to RMB 11200/ton while DTY and FDY selling offers were quoted at the same level of RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11300/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1520/ton, US$ 1520/ton and US$ 1720/ton, respectively.
