Raw material prices in polyester value chain plunge

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asia. In S E Asian countries, PX prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1555/ton to US$ 1560/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted in between US$ 1530/ton to US$ 1535/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market jumped up and hovered in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1565/ton.
PTA prices moved down in Asian region. In F E Asian and S E Asian countries, PTA prices were witnessed at US$ 1170/ton and US$ 1175/ton, respectively. PTA imported from Taiwanese market soared up and was offered at US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1175/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices plunged down and were marked at RMB 8675/ton to RMB 8725/ton.
Ethylene prices declined in the Asian market. In S E Asian countries, Ethylene prices were marked in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1315/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene price hovered at US$ 1315/ton.
In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices plunged down and were assessed in the range of 62.50 cents/pound to 63.00 cents/pound. In European international and domestic market, Ethylene price dropped down and were quoted at US$ 1425/ton and € 1100/ton, respectively.
MEG prices went down in Asia. In S E Asian market, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1005/ton to US$ 1010/ton. In China market, MEG prices dropped down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG prices plunged down and were offered in between RMB 7575/ton to RMB 7625/ton.
In S E Asian countries, BG PET Chips price remained stable in the range of US$ 1520/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In F E Asian market, counter offers were around US$ 1520/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices were unchanged and marked at RMB 10950/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable were witnessed in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price and were assessed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1415/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 10425/ton to RMB 10475/ton.
PSF prices plunged down in Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were marked at US$ 1605/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were marked at US$ 1505/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices dropped down in the range of RMB 11125/ton to RMB 11175/ton.
In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices stayed stable and were marked at RMB 11250/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11300/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY were at US$ 1535/ton, US$ 1715/ton and US$ 1530/ton, respectively.
