China's total yarn production stood at 9.661 million tons during the first four months of the current year, showing a year-on-year rise of 14.9 percent, according to National Bureau of Statistics.
In the month of April, China's total yarn output stood at 2.635 million tons, an increase of 332,000 tons or 14.5 percent compared to yarn production registered in April 2011.
However, the April figures showed a 5.49 percent or 153,000 tons decline in yarn production compared to the March 2012.
