Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn Jan-Mar net profit surges

Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn Ltd (SLCL), one of the premier manufacturers of home furnishing products in India, has posted net profit of Rs. 389.8 million during the quarter ended March 31, 2012.
Its net profit has grown by 40.72 percent compared to the net profit of Rs. 277 million achieved during the corresponding period of last year.
SLCL's net sales increased to Rs. 6.95 billion during the January-March 2012 quarter, as against its net revenues of Rs. 4.377 billion recorded during the same period in 2011.
SLCL follows a July-June fiscal year calendar. For the first nine months of the current fiscal ended March 31, 2012, the company's net profit rose to Rs. 841.4 million from Rs. 767.9 million registered during the same period of last year.
The company's net sales, too, showed a huge growth and surged to Rs. 17 billion during the nine-month period, as against net sales of Rs. 12.85 billion in the year ago period.
SLCL currently manufactures denim fabric, terry towels, bed linen, cotton fusible interlining, embroided fabric, technical textile products and ballistic products.
