XXIII IFATCC Congress to be held in Budapest

The XXIII International Congress of the International Federation of Associations of Textile Chemists and Colourists (IFATCC) will take place on 08 – 10 May 2013 in Budapest, Hungary.

It will be International Federation of Associations of Textile Chemists and Colourists, Hungarian Chemical Society Hungarian Society of Textile and Technology and Science.

It is a forum of all experts and specialists, engineers, and entrepreneurs that help the development of the textile and clothing industry.

The central topic of XXIII IFATCC congress will be the development of the textile chemical processes and operations in the direction of environmentally and consumer friendly (green) technologies.

The estimated number of participants might be around 300.

The conference covers all aspects of the textile chemistry:

• Sustainable textile chemistry, bio based raw materials and environmentally friendly processes
• Innovation in the textile processing and introducing new technologies: spinning, weaving, pre-treatments, dyeing /including garment dyeing/, printing, /including digital printing/, finishing
• Quality, environment and safety
• The new opportunities and developments in the world of technical textiles
• Textile machinery
• Fashion and its importance

An exhibition of instrumentation, chemicals (auxiliaries, dyes, finishing agents and so on) software, machineries, accessories and textile technical literature is also foreseen in connection with the Congress.
