Sangam to setup Center of Excellence in Textile Technology

Sangam University managed by the promoters of the multifarious Bhilwara based – Sangam Group, with interests in textiles, steel and infrastructure has been accorded a Private University status by the Rajasthan government.
Sangam Group is one of the leading industrial groups of the country which has carved a niche for itself in Spinning, PV and Dope-dyed units. In addition to this the group is also one of the market leaders in Denim, Cotton Thread and Textile products.
The Sangam Group has also ventured into Steel Production and Infrastructure during the last few years. The Group is expects a turnover of about Rs. 4000 Crores during the current financial year.
Sangam University is also initiating in its very first year a Center of Excellence for Textile Technology where students of the University and even employees working in textile industry at Bhilwara and other textile production centers in the country will get access to technical acumen and research facilities.
Sangam University aims at providing programmes and courses that match international quality standards and benchmarks and is committed to create an environment that is conducive to multifarious and all round development of students. It intends to create entrepreneurs who can lead from the front.
