PET & PTA prices keep moving up

Markets have been currently hard driven by strong demand and firm prices of upstream products leading to thier volatility. Mono Ethylene Glycol and Para Terpthtalic Acid are prime resoan for hike in PET chips prices throughout China.
According to a source, prices stand between RMB10150 and 10200 per metric ton.
In Zhejiang province and Jiangsu province, offers for large PET chips were pegged at RMB10300 per metric ton, while the mainstream dealing prices were quoted at RMB10200 per metric ton.
There is still a gap of RMB50 per metric ton between the prices for large bright PET chips and semi-dull PET chips.
In the feedstock sector, PTA prices remained between RMB8150 to RMB8200 per metric ton.
Mainstream import prices of PTA market ruled in the range US $830-835 per metric ton.
Firm Paraxylene offers across Asia, and in China guided the domestic Chinese PTA values.
Resistance apart in China's PTA markets, sellers have stuck to their their rising offers, for present.
