Asian PSF prices decline, MEG goes steady

In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices went down and were quoted in the range of 42.00 cents/pound to 42.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in European international and in domestic market and were quoted at US$ 1025/ton and € 880/ton, respectively.

MEG prices were steady in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 885/ton. In China market, MEG prices went down in the range of US$ 880/ton to US$ 885/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG prices plunged down and were assessed in the range RMB 6675/ton to RMB 6725/ton.

In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices stayed steady and were assessed at RMB 9400/ton.

In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price was quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices were unchanged and were assessed in the range of RMB 9075/ton to RMB 9125/ton.

PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1405/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1305/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 9850/ton to RMB 9900/ton.

In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY and FDY prices went down and were marked at RMB 10100/ton and RMB 10025/ton, respectively while DTY prices stayed stable at RMB 11450/ton. In export market, offers for POY and FDY declined and were quoted at US$ 1350/ton and US$ 1325/ton, respectively while DTY price stayed stable at US$ 1530/ton.
