Twelve Turkish exhibitors to offer fabrics at Texworld USA

The 2012 summer edition of Texworld USA will feature a new Turkey National Pavilion. From July 24 to 26, twelve companies and associations will present their new fabrics in a fully booked exhibition hall at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Turkey is a major apparel sourcing nation and the Turkey Pavilion adds to the diversity of the trade show with currently 328 confirmed exhibitors from 14 countries. The Turkey National Pavilion is sponsored by UTIB, the Uludag Textile Exporters Association based in Turkey. 

“Turkey is the largest textile producer in Europe as well as an important cotton and synthetic fiber producer. We export middle to high end fashion fabrics to more than 180 countries and trade zones,” says Mr. Ufuk Ocak, Member of Board of UTIB. “At Texworld USA, leading Turkish companies will show their unique and high quality products which are often available in large quantities and within weeks.”

Texworld USA is the largest sourcing event in North America for apparel fabric buyers, R&D and product development specialists, designers, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals.

The Turkish companies to be featured at Texworld USA are: 

Acar Tekstil, Booth 2319

Acar Tekstil specializes in cotton, viscose, polyester, silky aspects and jacquard weaved fabrics. Among other products, Acar Tekstil also shows printed and knitted fabrics ready to be shipped to their customers around the world.

Altinsu Tekstil, Booth 2436

Altinsu Tekstil produces high quality viscose, acetate, polyamide, polyester, cotton and blended woven fabrics for men and women’s clothing, lining, bridal and sleep wear. Altinsu Tekstil has its own weaving and dyeing departments to produce the fabrics in special systems such as jigger, pad-batch, continue-systems, etc.

Ay-Mu Tekstil & Korukcu Tekstil, Booth 2341

Founded in 1989 in Bursa, the Ay-Mu Tekstil & Korukcu Tekstil focuses on women’s fabrics using satin, bistretch, nylon, cotton, lycra, creps, etc. The company currently has 50 employees and 19 fully-equipped weaving machines.

Batmaz Tekstil, Booth 2440

Batmaz was established in 1990 with a long experience in dyeing silk. The family-owned business has since expanded its facilities to yarn dyed polyesters, nylons, cellulosics and jacquard products. Batmaz also has an advanced design department including an experienced Italian designer and personalized designs. They create two main collections every year with 10 to 15 different grounds, depending on the season. In total, around 100 new designs are developed every season available for worldwide shipping.

BZ Jakarli Dokuma, Booth 2337

BZ Jakarli focuses on jacquard weaving for women’s formal, sports and fashion wear. The experienced staff also includes a R&D department with three designers constantly looking for new trends. The collection is updated twice a year to ensure highest customer satisfaction.
