Tanatex becomes official partner of bluesign system

After TANATEX has recently successfully committed itself to the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) philosophy by implementing EPIC3; Extraordinary Programme for Innovative C2C Cellulosics Cycle, now an intensive collaboration with bluesign technologies was a logical step.

Maurice Boeijen, Specialist Product Safety & Regulations at TANATEX Chemicals explains: ‘We successfully complied with all requirements of the bluesign criteria for chemical suppliers. This included an extensive on-site evaluation of the environment-, resource- and workplace situation of our manufacturing site according to the five principles of the bluesign system. We will now start registering our products in the bluesign bluefinder, which is a growing online database containing "bluesign approved" raw materials and components that are allowed under the bluesign system’.
