China's CPL spot import market remains stable

The spot market of caprolactam (CPL) imports in China in terms of US dollars remained stable on July 23.
Cargo holders quoted price in the range of US$ 2320-2330/ton, while downstream manufacturers offered to buy at price of around US$ 2280/ton, and actual negotiation took place in the range of US$ 2280-2300/ton.
In East China too, the CPL spot market remained unchanged on July 23. Cargo holders quoted price in the range of 18600-18700 Yuan/ton, while downstream buyers bid for price of around 18,400 Yuan/ton, and actual negotiations were in the range of 18500-18600 Yuan/ton.
