Sustainable Textiles Conference in Hong Kong

Textile Exchange, EcoTextile News, Messe Frankfurt, and Planet Textiles are partnering to bring the 2012 Sustainable Textiles conference to Hong Kong on October 4 and 5, 2012. 

 This event will be hosted at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, running in conjunction with Interstoff Asia Essential - Autum Fair.

DuPont Industrial BioSciences is a proud sponsor of the 2012 Sustainable Textiles Conference.

The 2012 Sustainable Textiles conference will be a global gathering of key players representing the entire value chain.  Their focus will be on sustainability issues and opportunities in textiles, manufacturing, chemistry, and agriculture.

The conference will involve comprehensive meetings and forums that cover important aspects of sustainable textiles with topics including organic and other natural fibers (bamboo, cellulose, and many others), intelligent textiles, recycled fibers, bio-polymers, sustainable business practices in water and energy usage, social issues, pricing issues, climate concerns, industry and product integrity (including certification), toxics and waste, consumer market trends, key performance indicators, and traceability and transparency issues.
