The disturbing trends that are negatively affecting many traditional retailers and wholesalers actually fall right into Fiji's garment and footwear manufacturers' collective laps as their 'Make it in Fiji' campaign continues to gain greater international traction and exposure.
This will be the third participation of the TCF council in AISF which has witnessed over 300 visitors to their booth. The 2010 AISF event in Melbourne and 2011 in Sydney generated unprecedented levels of leads and interest. Fiji's focus on small production runs, niche markets, quick and flexible production, has started to see the fruits of this shift rip "Make it in Fiji" reputation for quality performance.
