“The best and brightest minds in the world of fashion come together twice a year for the MAGIC show,” the founder of Fashion Lab Meghan Boyd said. “We thought we would give everyone a glimpse of Fashion Alley.
“It’s an exciting chance to see the design talent and community enthusiasm that Fashion Lab will help to support and cultivate when it is ready for its close up in a few months,” she said.
In the meantime, the fashion world will be treated to Fashion Alley which is set to become the regular public showcase for Fashion Lab, a Las Vegas-based incubator set to open by 2013. The inaugural Fashion Alley is set to take place just beyond the neon at Beauty Bar, in the Fremont East Entertainment District (FEED) just east of Las Vegas Boulevard South in historic downtown Las Vegas.
The Fashion Alley party on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 will feature a non-traditional fashion presentation every hour showcasing looks from a dozen emerging designers. Also utilized as the setting for Downtown Film’s Fashion Alley commercial shoot, the alley is the perfect setting for our diverse group of designers from Ermelinda Manos’ ultra-sexy evening wear to Ernesto Flores’ Rock n’ Roll couture to the uber avant guard creations of artist Angel Alcalá.
This event and the video, which can be seen online was produced by Christopher Ramirez who founded Silver State Production Services. The event is being produced by Ramirez, Jennifer Henry of FlockFlockFlock and Rehan Choudhry, Aurelian Marketing Group.
“MAGIC has always brought out some really cool parties over the years and it's time we shift the focus to a more original downtown setting,” Downtown Films Founder Christopher Ramirez said. “We are pulling out all the stops for this event.”
