Swazi designers to display creations at SITF Fashion Week

Nine inspiring designers from Swaziland would display their collections under the theme ‘Swaziland: Africa’s New Promise’ at the Swaziland International Trade Fair (SITF) Fashion Week on September 7.
The designers include Sphalele Magagula, Khulekani, Bongi Gray, Lolo Sikhondze, Nonzwakazi Dlamini, Kwazi Mkhaliphi and Faith Vilakati.
Event Coordinator Khulekani Msweli of Jeremy Paul said the designers were selected in view of their functionality in and contribution to the domestic fashion industry.
Each designer would present five unique designs, he said, and added that they set a small number as they are insisting on quality and not quantity.
The event, to be hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, would provide a platform for the designers to showcase their work and get a chance to interact with customers.
