Four companies participating in Home Textiles Market Week in New York City were presented with “Best New Product Awards” today, with Alicia Adams Alpaca Inc receiving the “Best of Market” award for its Suri fur bedspread. All of the winners and finalists are exhibitors in At Home featuring Home Textiles at the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF), which runs through Wednesday, August 22, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Four additional “Best New Product Awards” were presented in individual categories: Bed, Bath, Dining and Home Accessories. A panel of trade and consumer editors selected winners and finalists based on criteria including innovation in design, creative use of materials/construction and new fiber, material or technology.
