China's CPL spot import market sees limited turnover

Limited turnover was observed in China’s caprolactam (CPL) spot import market on August 30.
The spot import market was in a wait-and-watch mode and it remained flat. Cargo holders quoted price in the range of US$ 2,310-2,330/ton, while downstream manufacturers bid for US$ 2,290/ton. Few actual negotiations took place in the price range of US$ 2,290-2,300/ton.
In East China, the domestic CPL market was light and actual negotiations were scarce. Cargo holders offered in the range of 18,100-18,200 Yuan/ton, while inquiries from downstream manufacturers centred around 18,000 Yuan/ton and actual negotiations were in the range of 18,000-18,100 Yuan/ton.
