The 'Made in Pakistan Expo 2012,' organized jointly by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), began in Mumbai today.

A Pakistani trade delegation comprising of leading textile houses as well as prominent businesspersons from various other industrial sectors are exhibiting their products at the six-day-long fair.

Pakistan’s topmost brands and fashion designers are also showcasing their finest textiles and garment collections in the exhibition.

Popular labels and boutiques like Gul Ahmed, Portia Fabrics, Bareeze and MauSummery are among the firms presenting their exquisite creations at the expo.

The FPCCI believes the exhibition will allow the traders to explore opportunities and improve bilateral trade relations between the two SAARC nations.

After Mumbai, FPCCI is planning to organize similar exhibitions in other Indian cities like Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi.
