For the first time in Perth Fashion Festival (PFF) history, STM Fashion Central will bring fashion to the people in the form of an air-filled eco-cube, known as the Inflate Air Cube. STM Fashion Central will host an array of free to the public events in Forrest Place, the heart of the city.

In partnership with Lux Events, STM Fashion Central will use the cutting edge technology of the Inflate Air Cube to provide a sensational new venue for PFF 2012.

STM Fashion Central will transform Forrest Place into a mecca of fashion with exciting new initiatives such as Swimwear Central which will see four Western Australian swimwear labels, Beso Beso, Bikini Atoll, Cebiche and Gypsea hit the runway with their signature bright colours, bold patterns and quirky designs.

HATCH will showcase iconic and emerging West Australian labels in two not to be missed runway shows featuring Perth labels including Zhivago, Bhalo, Jeromy Lim, Zanthus and On Tour. There will also be a HATCH pop-up shop adjacent to STM Fashion Central open all day on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September.

Techno Fashion will provide a look into the exciting world of high-tech fashion being developed by Curtin University. This one off parade will show the innovative results and marvel at the future of fashion as presented by Curtin’s new Fashion Research Hub.

Open to all Western Australian guys and girls over the age of 15 and judged by a high-profile panel of industry experts, the Chic Model Search 2012 final will be held on Sunday 23 September.

Marchesi will showcase the latest in street wear for men, suiting and formal wear from leading designers such as Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Diesel, Gucci and Hugo Boss.

30 Days of Restyle proves fashion can be fabulous at any price! PFF has partnered with 10 local bloggers and seven charities to show you how to restyle your wardrobe for less and support the community at the same time.

Raspberry + Pop will show their Weekend in Havana collection, featuring quirky and relaxed boho pieces.

Darlene Gianoli from Style Palace will showcase the Spring Summer collections of a wide array of top national designer labels across two shows including Maurie & Eve, Camilla, Tigerlily and Zhivago. All the best stores and labels from Harbour Town will also hit the runway at STM Fashion Central.

“STM Fashion Central is going to be an amazing fashion and event experience! Never before have we hosted events in such an innovative and funky venue as the Inflate Air Cube. The people of Perth will have the opportunity to experience so many free and fabulous events at STM Fashion Central and all within such a sensational venue,” said Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan, Director, Perth Fashion Festival.

“Perth Fashion Festival continues to bring new and innovative fashion events to Perth, proving that even after 14 years we are still keeping it fresh!”

Perth Fashion Festival is supported by the State Government through Eventscorp, the Department of Culture and the Arts and the City of Perth.
