Popular Bollywood stars auction jeans for charity

The die-hard fans of Bollywood movies will soon be able to buy clothes that are either worn or autographed by their favourite stars of the Indian cinema.
As part of a unique and noble campaign 'Jeanaration', many eminent faces of the filmdom have come forward to auction their favourite pairs of jeans.
The clothes collected from the charity event will further be put up for sale as part of the same social campaign launched by the Bangalore-based non-profit organization Parikrma.
The funds raised from the sale of these celebrity-worn apparels will be used to provide scholarships to poor children for their education in the best institutions across the country.
These apparels donated by the Hindi film industry’s popular actors and actresses like Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan, Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut will be available on online store eBay.
Founded in 2003, Parikrma provides access to world class education for under-privileged children.
