Vietnam to host international apparel fair this month

Vietnam International Fashion Fair 2012 (VIFF 2012), an annual textile and apparel exhibition co-organized by the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (VINATEX) and Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), will be held from October 12-17, 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The exhibition will serve as a platform for the country’s apparel makers to promote their products and establish business relationships with national and international leaders of the textile trade.
The fair will have the local garment and textile companies displaying their products for the domestic and foreign visitors.
Around 400 stalls, exhibiting a range of textiles and clothing items, by hundreds of domestic businesses will be set up in the fair.
Additionally, evening fashion shows will be organized during the event to showcase the country’s garment makers’ vivid Autumn-Winter season collections.
The VIFF 2012 will also highlight Vietnamese garment and textile industry’s export potential as well as overall production capacity of the apparel manufacturers.
