Demand for CPL remains flat in Chinese market

The demand for caprolactam (CPL) from downstream buyers is flat for the past few days.
The CPL market in terms of RMB is also flat. The mainstream price of CPL in spot market is in the range of 18,000-18,300 yuan/ton. Downstream buyers are still in wait-and-watch mode and actual market transactions are light.
CPL import market is based on weak consolidation and prices are in the range of US$ 2,320-2,330/ton.
