Caribbean Fashion Plus + Week to focus on curvaceous women

The fashion world is going through a revolutionary change today and is celebrating all kinds of female structures, right from wafer thin skinny models to full-bodied curvaceous women, all of whom are getting acceptance and appreciation on international runways.

Following the trend, the second edition of plus size fashion clothing event Caribbean Fashion Plus + Week 2012 (CFPW) would be held from October 31, 2012 in the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, located in the southern Caribbean.

Organized by Carivog International, the upcoming fashion revelry will host a range of events, including two major fashion shows titled ‘Pan In Style’ and ‘Runway Caribbean’, workshops and other plus-size fashion activities.

Nearly 34 voluptuous hand-picked local models and over 11 international plus size fashion models, belonging to places like New York, Puerto Rico and South Korea, would catwalk for several participating designers as well as fashion labels that include Timeless by Andrea Brathwaite, Concept Studios by Dexter Jennings, Charter Designs by Orson Charter and The Cloth by Robert Young.

Additionally, seminars on various topics such as business of fashion, ecommerce, social media, pioneering plus size fashion in Latin America, fashion journalism and sustainable development, will be held on the sidelines of the fashion-related events.
