Berlin's bi-annual fashion week from Jan 15

This festive season, Germans will have plentiful reasons to indulge in non-stop partying. After the joyful jingles of Christmas, followed by crazy New Year Eve celebrations, the country’s capital city of Berlin will host its bi-annual fashion fest Berlin Fashion Week (BFW), to be held from 15th to 20th January, 2013.
BFW will showcase a delightful array of exquisite clothing lines from several seasoned as well as upcoming talents, including Vladimir Karaleev and Leandro Cano, from different nationalities like Germany, France, the UK, Australia, India and Austria.
Other than the colourful runway demonstrations of myriad autumn/winter 2013/2014 collections, the event will also showcase ensembles from eco-friendly labels, such as Johanna Riplinger, Xess&Baba and Black Jewels.
Awards ceremonies, trade fairs and exhibitions displaying international street and urban wear brands will also be organized for the visiting fashion enthusiasts, buyers, trade experts and the media persons, on the sidelines of fashion shows.
The fashion extravaganza will be supported by Berlin Partner GmbH and Berlin senate government.
