Fifth Hya Abayas exhibition attracts 65,000 visitors

The recently concluded fifth Hya Abayas exhibition, the largest abaya exhibition in the Middle East, attracted more than 65,000 visitors, according to the Qatar Tourism Authority, the organizers of the event.
The Hya Abaya exhibition is recognized as one of Qatar’s most fashionable and not-to-be missed events.
At the fifth edition, several fashion designers from Qatar and the GCC region showcased latest designs and trends of abayas, kaftans and evening gowns.
This year’s exhibition was not only the largest edition of Hya Abayas, but also featured the largest number of Qatari designers, including female designers, for whom the exhibition provided an ideal platform to get greater exposure for their creations.
Hya Abaya is one of the five main annual events organized by the QTA aimed at developing the local tourism industry. The exhibition serves as a fashion platform and helps showcase captivating designs and fascinating collections of abayas from the region.
