PTT Asahi delays restart of Thai ACN plant

PTT Asahi Chemical Company Limited has delayed the restart of an acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in Thailand.
“The plant which was shut in early-May 2013 for maintenance turnaround, was scheduled to restart in mid-June. This has now been resceduled to end-June”, a PTT Asahi offical told fibre2fashion.
Located in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the plant has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
