Portuguese textile makers target Colombian market

Colombia Moda has become a benchmark event and the most powerful trade platform for business and fashion in Latin America. The 2012 Colombia Moda received 18,197 national and foreign visitors, an increase of 17% over 2011. It attracted more than 1,600 international buyers from 50 different countries and more than 4000 national buyers.

The participation of Portuguese companies in Colombia Moda is an initiative of Selectiva Moda Association, with support from Compete and NSRF, as part of the From Portugal project.

Selectiva Moda is an association that promotes the internationalisation of Portuguese companies and for 2013 it has a programme of international actions in 35 different markets, aimed at the areas of yarns, fabric and finishing accessories, fashion, home textiles and decoration and technical textiles.
