The fashion industry is often inspired by the street and the underground environment. Now VISION invites the "underground" inside, when the two graffiti artists over three days interprets the fashion scene with a Heineken theme at VISION.
"We think it is interesting to see what happens when the creative process is turned upside down. Now the underground environment should find inspiration from the fashion world," says VISION's Brand Manager Trine Lindegaard, who is excited to see the artist’s interpretation.
For the two artists the collaboration is interesting because it offers a unique opportunity to raise awareness of graffiti as an art form:
"We are looking forward to showing the graffiti art to people who might not otherwise see it. We would like to show that graffiti can be used in a different context and the graffiti can be implemented and interpreted with the fashion environment and with a Heineken theme" explains Mikael Brandrup, hoping that they can reach the viewers and show how exciting graffiti art can be.
The two artists are making two walls, one can be seen in progress every day at an “open workshop”, while the other wall is created before the fashion week with the Heineken theme.
