Dubai's Fashion Forward to feature retail & trade gallery

Following the super success of its first season, Dubai’s leading bi-annual sartorial event Fashion Forward (FFWD) is going to add new attractions to its forthcoming second edition.

The organizers of the event are going to set up a retail and trade gallery titled The Garden, which will feature fashion accessories and lifestyle items created by Middle Eastern designers.

Scheduled to run from October 15th to 17th, 2013, the new exhibit space aims to support and nurture the up and coming local talents.

Serving as a common meeting ground for buyers and designers, the display area will include individual booths for each of the participating exhibitors.

Slated to take place from October 15th to 18th, 2013, the second season of FFWD will focus both on traditional runway shows and fashion industry-related educative discussions.

FFWD is a movement incorporating biannual presentations from the regions most established and emerging fashion designers for consumers, buyers and the media.

A public programme including talks, panels and workshops by the region’s leading fashionistas is a key part of FFWD’s role in developing a dynamic, sustainable and definitive fashion platform for the Middle East.
