"We are delighted to once again host TFI's Press & Buyers Brunch trade show under the tents at World MasterCard Fashion Week," said Susan Langdon, Executive Director, TFI. "Having the Brunch at Canada's leading fashion event last season generated overwhelmingly positive response from both exhibitors and attendees. It was thrilling and gratifying to see designers get coveted buying appointments or their first televised interview."
As one of the TFI's longest-standing events, the TFI Press & Buyers Brunch debuted in its new location at WMCFW in March 2013 showcasing fall/winter 2013 collections. The partnership between the TFI and IMG Fashion will continue through 2013 for the spring/summer 2014 season. This October, guests will view spring/summer 2014 collections from a variety of promising brands and enjoy a light, intimate brunch catered by The Ritz-Carlton.
Designers selected to exhibit their collections will be determined through a detailed application process and jury review headed up by the TFI and IMG Fashion. Interested Canadian apparel and accessory designers should submit an application to the TFI at 285 Manitoba Drive, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3 no later than 5pm ET on September 4, 2013. Selected designers will have the unique opportunity to gain important industry contacts, including a post-event list of media, buyers and VIP attendees, showcase their brand alongside top calibre talent, enjoy a complimentary catered brunch, and participate in a professionally coordinated event.
