Sandra Bullock's dress makes heads turn at Venice Festival

American actress Sandra Bullock, clad in her royal scarlet hued dress, played the perfect arm candy to the 52-year-old American actor George Clooney on the opening day of the 70th Venice Film Festival.
Bullock, who was at the international film festival to present her new film Gravity, made heads turn in a classy red strapless gown from J. Mendel’s resortwear 2014 collection.
Giving company to the 49-year-old actress at the red carpet was her co-star George Clooney. The heartthrob once again proved his dapper dressing sense by turning up in a classically tailored black tuxedo with a white dress shirt and bow tie.
At another daytime promotional event in the same Italian festival, the actors once again showed their refined sartorial taste. Bullock chose to wear a summery colour-block pink, lime green and orange dress whereas Clooney appeared in a striped shirt teamed up with a relaxed open button blazer.
Started in 1932, the annual high-profile Venice Film Festival is the oldest international film festival in the world.
