Arthur Cox Irish Fashion Showcase to promote local talent

Once gain Ireland’s finest designers will showcase their freshest ensembles at the forthcoming Arthur Cox Irish Fashion Showcase 2013, a three-city touring fashion event which aims to highlight the best of Irish fashion industry.
Scheduled to start from September 12, 2013, the soiree, which serves as a platform for Irish designers to network with new foreign buyers, will make its first stop in London followed by Dublin on September 18 and the grand finale in New York on October 30, 2013.
Known for their signature triangular scarves, Dublin-based label Electronic Sheep, owned by designer duo Brenda Aherne and Helen Delany, are going to present their latest collection of knitted accessories at the forthcoming international event.
A County Galway native, milliner Mark T Burke will present his 10-piece Autumn/Winter headwear collection at the prestigious event. The 26-year-old milliner drew inspiration from the famous W.B Yeats poem ‘Aedh Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven’ for his latest ensembles.
