Newlife to showcase innovative yarns at Première Vision

The Newlife journey continues and its latest developments are now ready to be unveiled at the forthcoming Première Vision in Paris, the most important trade fair for textiles, where all the latest innovations for Fall/Winter 2014-15 will be showcased from 17 to 19 September.

The revolutionary high-tech and sustainable platform produced by Saluzzo Yarns, part of the Sinterama Group, will be using Paris as a launch pad for its latest achievement, Newlife “Thermal Management”.

This collection of yarns has a special cross-section that gives exceptional lightness and extremely high insulation levels, making it suitable for both casual wear and active sportswear. A wonderful showcase for a unique new product!

Another key innovation from Newlife, also to be presented for the first time at Première Vision, is a new range of yarns made for flat-bed knitting, produced in 100% yarn dyed Newlife in two versions, texturized and air-jet textured for a full and natural feel and look.

The fashion applications of Newlife also include accessories: in Paris top quality lining fabrics will be presented, produced thanks to the partnership with TMR Cederna Fodere, a symbol of prestige, tradition and innovation in this sector for over half a century.

The alliance has enabled the development of a range of fabrics for linings in both 100% Newlife and in blends with Cupro, cotton and viscose which, in addition to their unique plus in terms of aesthetics, also offer high performance regarding washability and easy care.

This international product launch is a first in terms of lining fabrics that offer not just high tech and aesthetic benefits but also environmental ones!

Newlife started an interesting collaboration with Primafil, an operating company since 1976 producing synthetic sewing yarns for garment. Over the years Primafil has developed many types of yarns, some for general sewing, others more specialised for producing necks, cuff and band for flat bed kniting.

Primafil and Newlife present a new innovation, ecoNuvola, coloured sewing yarns in soft microfibre that allow all garment makers to produce environmentally sustainable clothing.

Newlife together with Chamatex (a French producer of technical and fashion fabrics) and Sympatex Technologies (a German company specialised in functional fabrics highly breathable, waterproof, windproof and eco-friendly membranes) has developed innovative technical materials that are eco friendly and certified with the objective of enhancing a European supply chain.

Newlife, as a partner of C.L.A.S.S. (Creativity Lifestyle and Sustainable Synergy) will be part of the selected Eco-library that will be on stage at Premiere Vision on the 17 September, in occasion of the Panel dedicated to Responsible Creation that will take place at 1pm in the Mezzanine Hall6, room 611, Parc d'Expositions Paris - Nord Villepinte.
