Nolcha Fashion Week shows independent designers' creations

Once again well-established and up and coming independent fashion designers from around the world featured their innovative designs at the recently concluded sixth edition of Nolcha Fashion Week.
New York-based Italian fashion talent Danilo Gabrielli showcased an unusual collection, made with a mix of muslin cloth and sandwich wrappers as well as napkins, at the event.
The 28-year-old self-taught Zimbabwean designer Maita Marimo featured her trademark Christian faith-inspired modest clothing ensembles, replete with a generous dash of tribal chic elements, at the soiree.
Other than Gabrielli and Marimo, the three-day-long event also presented exquisite ranges from labels like Oiselle, Intrepid by Ao’c, Karo Swimwear and Magdalena Adriane.
Held during New York Fashion Week, the award winning prestigious event Nolcha Fashion Week serves as a global platform for independent fashion designers to showcase their collections to international media, retailers, stylists and fashion industry influencers.
