The plenary session ended with a presentation of Mr. Ryan Young from the Apparel Coalition Inc./San Francisco (USA) on the topic “The Higg index and collaboration in the apparel industry”
104 further individual lectures on the main themes “sustainable solutions for the fiber industry”, “fiber innovations”, “unconventional fiber applications”, “finishing”, “sports- and functional wear” as well as “market specials” did present a unique cross-section about the innovative potential and vast applications in the Man-made Fiber World. The “Who is Who” of academic research, fiber industry and the processing chain was represented through their latest developments, key technologies and visionary outlooks.
