Jakarta Fashion Week announces CLEO Fashion Award winners

The awards giving to favorite retail brands was held on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the Fashion Atrium, Senayan City, a few hours after the opening of Jakarta Fashion Week 2014. Then, the awards giving to talented young designers will be held on Wednesday, October 23, at the Fashion Tent, Senayan City.

The awards giving for retail brands was an appreciation towards favorite brands chosen by the readers and editor of CLEO magazine. Starting from CLEO Fashion Awards held by CLEO Malaysia and Singapore, CLEO Indonesia has also held the same event since 2008 as part of the spectacular Jakarta Fashion Week.

The favorite retail brands awards in CLEO Fashion Awards were given based on two stages of assessment. First, the retail brands were assessed through the Readers’ Choice voting on the CLEO Indonesia website. On the second stage, they were assessed by the panel jury in Editor’s Choice.

This year’s awards were divided into 10 categories: The Most Stylish Denim,The Trendiest Workwear, The Trendiest Casual Wear, The Sultriest Cocktail Dresses, The Coolest Beachwear, The Hippest Sunglasses, The ‘IT’ Watches, The Sexiest Shoes, The Most Covetable Bags, and The Most Favorite Accessories.

The winners of each category: The Most Stylish Denim; CLEO’s Choice:Lee Cooper, Readers’ Choice:Levi’s. The Trendiest Workwear; CLEO’s Choice:Tommy Hilfiger,Readers’ Choice: Banana Republic. The Trendiest Casual Wear; CLEO’s Choice: Cotton On,Readers’ Choice: Forever 21. The Sultriest Cocktail Dresses; CLEO’s Choice: Miss Selfridge, Readers’ Choice: Mango. The Coolest Beachwear.

It also includes: CLEO’s Choice: Volcom, Readers’ Choice: Body & Soul. The Hippest Sunglasses; CLEO’s Choice: Elizabeth & James, Readers’ Choice: Giorgio Armani. The ‘IT’ Watches; CLEO’s Choice: Guess, Readers’ Choice: Swatch. The Sexiest Shoes; CLEO’s Choice: D:Fuse, Readers’ Choice: VNC. The Most Covetable Bags; CLEO’s Choice: Furla, Readers’ Choice: Guess.The Most Favorite Accessories; CLEO’s Choice: Accessorize, Readers’ Choice: Bling.
