Catalonian designers display in Colombian city of Medellin

A one-of-a-kind fashion show, featuring designs from seven labels from the Spanish autonomous community of Catalonia, was held for the first time in the Colombian city of Medellin.
The promotional event was organized as part of the latest agreement, which aims to promote the exchange of designers among the 080 Barcelona Fashion and ColombiaModa events, signed between the Government of Catalonia and Inexmoda, the Colombian institute for exports and fashion.
Attended by Colombian media and fashion professionals, the fashion show was the first runway presentation of the 080 Barcelona Fashion designers outside Catalonia.
With a primary objective to test the business potential of Spanish designs and textiles in Latin America, the catwalk event featured spring/summer 2014 collections from Cecilia Rafael, Naulover, Roidal, TCN, Tuset & Riera, Piel and Yerse.
The event also showcased presentations from brands like Boboli Condor, Cris Zarel, Diktons, Escorpion, Messcalino and Smash.
