After selling out last year at its final stop in Design Exchange, the costume and prop display, based on the American fantasy drama television series, ‘Game of Thrones: The Exhibition’ is once again returning to the city of Toronto.

The touring exhibit, which is based on Canada’s most-watched paid TV show, is scheduled to be held at the famous cultural centre, TIFF Bell Lightbox, from May 14 to 18, 2014.

More than 100 items, including costumes, accessories and props, from the first three seasons as well as the upcoming fourth season, which will be aired from April 6, 2014 onwards on HBO Canada, of the popular series will be featured at the event.

Some of the major attractions of the exhibit will be an embroidered red dress worn by the Queen of Realm at King’s Landing, an armour like outfit donned by the Mother of Dragons at Qarth and a fur-lined cloak sported by Ned Stark, the head of the Stark family, in the hit show.

Other than the expansive display of artefacts and period dresses, the event will also include an interactive platform which would allow the visitors to immerse themselves into the make believe world of Westeros.

After Toronto, the exhibit will make a stop at the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver from August 16 to September 1, 2014.

Later, it will travel to cities like New York City, Mexico City, Austin, Texas, Rio de Janeiro, Oslo, Norway and Belfast.

Created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, Game of Thrones is an adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s bestselling ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ fantasy novels.
